This exhibition in Paris was an enormous success and was followed by a second show,featuring many of the same artists,

in kurdistan.

I have great respect for these artists ,most of whom I know well,and was

proud to have been invited to film this expo

along with Omar Pirez,

who took many of the photos.

For Svay Teng Denis Art is a means to an end.

That end is quite simply

making fresh clean water

available to poor villages in the artist's country of

birth,Cambodia.

In a profession where inflated egos and superficial ideas proliferate it is refreshing to film this modest,compassionate portaitist,whose art is quite literally saving lives.
